Divine Tao - NewThought-AncientWisdom

The Tao Te Ching / Dao de King, generally known as the Tao is the root work of Taoism. It teaches powerful understandings about life and spirit. There are actually two books in the Tao. These are the Tao which is comprised of the first 37 poems and the Te which is comprised of the last 44 poems.

Taoism includes basic principles or "theories" regarding the body, diet, breathing and physical exercises, uses of herbs, philosophical inquiry and, of course, meditation. The Taoist is in a constant process of transformation, knowing that balance is an ongoing process of coming into closer alignment with the "natural order"

Students will explore the Tao, discussing each poem and what spiritual principles are revealed within each. Although we will be using the DivineTao as our main vehicle for exploration of the Tao. Students are expected to use this rendition in conjunction with 3 other renditions writing a personal "revelation" about each of the poems which will enable them to easily use these poems and concepts in teaching New Thought.

You will explore the Tao over a 90 day period. Basically covering a Tao per day or 7 per week.
